Camp North Star is a premier sleepaway camp in Poland Spring, Maine. We are looking to hire motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced nurses for the 2025 camp season.
Responsibilities Include…
- Triage and treatment of campers and staff during clinic hours
- Medication administration at meals and bedtime
- Care of inpatient campers and staff
- Packaging and preparing of medication for camper trips
- Medical record management
- Conduct inventory of supplies and place orders when necessary
Compensation Includes…
- Competitive salary plus food, housing, laundry, and use of facilities.
- Reimbursement for ME nursing license transfer.
- Nurses with camp-aged children are eligible for camp tuition scholarship (valued at up to $12,500 per child) plus a salary.
Availability Requirement:
Nurses are required to work at least one full session: June 21 – July 5, July 5 – 19, or July 19 – August 19. Preference is given to nurses who can work multiple sessions.
Certification Requirement:
Applicants must be RNs or NPs.

The state of the art Health Center is equipped with air conditioning, private rooms, bathrooms, a nurses’ lounge and Wi-Fi.
