Most classes have papers, midterms, and/or finals and are graded on the traditional A, B, C, D and F system. Pass/No Pass grading is also offered. Official transcripts are available from UCLA upon request.
You will earn 4 or 5 credits for each college credit class at UCLA. Your tuition includes one college credit class. If you choose to take 2 college credit classes, there will be a fee for the additional credits of $500 for a 4 unit class or $800 for a 5 unit class. Credits are transferable to most colleges and universities in the United States.

These classes are taught by UCLA faculty, graduate teaching instructors, and top secondary school teachers and meet 4 times weekly for 1.5-2 hours. Class sizes average between 8-20 students.
Enrichment classes are a great way for you to learn something interesting and develop new skills. Most classes have homework, papers, and/or tests. Most classes are graded Pass/No Pass. You will receive a Summer Discovery “Certificate of Completion” at the end of the program.
